YMCA offers free water safety "Splash" program

The Ahwatukee Foothills Family YMCA is hosting a Splash Program to celebrate Water Safety Awareness Month.

On April 25, 27 and 29 children ages 3-8 and their parents are invited to the Ahwatukee YMCA to learn basic swimming skills and how stay safe around water.

Membership at the YMCA is not required.

If interested, register by April 22 to ensure proper staffing. Children will be placed in groups based on age (parent/child, preschool or school age) and time preference.

Class times are 5 p.m. to 5:30 p.m., 5:45 p.m. to 6:15 p.m., and 6:30 p.m. to 7 p.m.
