The Ahwatukee Thunder won the 11U USSSA Baseball Tournament in mid-November.

In the championship game the Thunder got on the board early, scoring seven in the bottom half of the first inning against Flagstaff on the way to a 11-3 win.

The big inning included a two-run hit by Eric Perez and Timmy Thetford’s two-run home run.

Dylan McKee pitched a great game allowing only three runs in an 11 to 3 route of Flagstaff. Defensively, Jack Kelly and Dean Bittner led the charge for a Thunder victory.
