Mountain Pointe senior offensive lineman Kenny Lacy committed to UCLA on Monday, a few days after his official visit on Saturday.

The 6-foot-5, 272-pound Lacy is viewed as an athletic prospect who is only going to get better. He has good feet and has long arms with plenty of room to grow with his body.

It is considered a soft verbal because he plans on taking his other scheduled visits to Arkansas, Nebraska, California and Oklahoma.

“It’s the greatest thing in the world for him,” Pride coach Norris Vaughan said. “It takes a lot of pressure off and a lot of time, what will happen is they will start playing better because the decision is behind them.”
