The Kyrene Altadena seventh-grade boys soccer team finished its regular season not only undefeated, but unscored upon.

The 18-boy roster finished the season with a city championship: a 7-1 win over Kyrene Akiemel in the semifinals and they won the title game 4-0 over Kyrene Pueblo.

In the semis, Patrick Ring had a hat trick and two assists to pace the team while Ty Vlaming, Carson Leisy, Wyatt Langs and Mark Gefrides also found the back of the net.

In the title game at Tempe Sports Complex, Duncan Ugland had two goals and was backed up by Ring and Connor Culp.

The shutout went to goalies Eli Carlton and Griffen Ames as defenders Trevor Willems and Paul Fitzpatrick kept the box clear.
