The Desert Vista softball program will hold a two-day clinic.

The first day is on Jan. 10 from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. at Akimel a-Al Middle School and the second day is Jan. 12 from 8 a.m. to noon at Desert Vista High School.

The softball skills workshop will cover throwing mechanics, fielding skills, hitting mechanics, base sliding and running.

The clinic is for girls ages 7 to 15 and can be any skill level. Players will be separated into groups 7 to 11 years old, and 12 to 15 years old.

The cost of the clinic is $50 for the two-day event. If participants register by January 4th and they get a DV Softball T-shirt.
