Desert Vista state wrestling champion Robert Sobarzo will continue his wrestling career at Grand Canyon University, according to coach David Gonzalez.
Sobarzo transferred from Avondale Westview and found the Thunder wrestling room to his liking. He improved enough to become the Division I 138-pound state championship while avenging many previous defeats on the way to the title.
