Mountain Pointe senior setter Justin Ackie has signed a letter of intent with Chadron St. College.
Ackie, a 5-8 setter, had 455 set assists, 170 digs and served 82 aces her senior season. Her assist total ranked her in the top 40 in Arizona and she helped lead her squad to a 24-9 record and a state quarterfinal appearance.
“Justine is a dynamic setter with some great playing experience,” Chadron St. coach Natasha Marquis said. “If she utilizes her athleticism and court sense, she has the ability to run a successful offense for our team.”
Chadron St., which is a Division II program, is in Chadron, Neb.
