Loyola University of Maryland is hosting an intercollegiate 54-hole golf tourney at Palm Valley Golf Club Feb. 24-25.

Seventeen golf universities with more than 100 players will compete this year for team and individual honors.

The following schools are competing: Air Force, Navy, Loyola University of Maryland, Indiana, Connecticut, Illinois State, Missouri State, Murray State, Gonzaga, South Dakota, St. John’s University, ASU, SIU-Edwardsville, Tennessee Tech, UMKC, Utah, Utah Valley, William & Mary.

All Arizona golf fans, tourists, juniors, seniors are invited to come out and see future PGA stars and great golf. The event is free but fans are requested to make a donation to the United States War Veteran’s PTSD Foundation, a 501 c3 non-profit charity. They confidentially treat war veterans with PTSD for free and will have a booth at the event. This will be an Annual National Intercollegiate Arizona event and the 2015 Arizona date/location will be announced in the future.

For more information on volunteering or sponsorship contact Vince Petroniero, Tourney Director at vjpetroniero@aol.com or call (480) 993-8941.
