Club Football training under way

Club Football, an offseason football training and program in Phoenix, got under way on Jan. 4 and goes through Feb. 8, but they are still accepting athletes.

There are two separate groups — grades ninth through 11th (2 to 5 p.m.) and sixth through eighth (10 a.m. to 1 p.m.) — that will work on Club Football’s FASTraining program incorporates the three major phases in football training, with position specific training and quality coaching. It focuses on speed and agility, position specific training and 7-on-7 tournaments.

It’s $40 per session and is every Saturday until Feb. 8 at Salvation Army football field, 1375 E. Broadway Road in Phoenix.
