Mountain Pointe senior Ben Harden won the Chandler City golf tournament last weekend to put himself in a position to win the Junior Golf Association of Arizona Player of the Year honors.

Harden won the Chandler event with a 72-65-137 at Bear Creek last week to give him his fifth win on the JGAA tour. He also finished second in two other events.

It puts him in a position to win the 15-18 age division’s Player of the Year honors.
