The Mountain Pointe baseball team founds its stride in the Big League Dugout tournament this week at Horzion, but couldn't finish it off Friday night.

The Pride fell 8-6 to Hamilton in the championship game.

The winning pitcher was Tyler Erwin with Austin Anderson taking the loss. The save went to Cody Lawson.

Mountain Pointe won three straight in the tournament, including a 16-3 win over Horizon in the semifinals, before falling to Hamilton.

The two programs have faced each other three times over the last week with the Pride (8-5-1) winning once, 2-1, early in the tournament action.
