Swimming: Pride finishes second, third at Tempe City Meet

The Mountain Pointe swim teams held their own at the Tempe City Meet.

The boys finished second and the girls third.

In the girls meet, the Pride finished second in the 200 IM relay.

Individually, Clara Jenck led the way winning the 200 freestyle and 100 backstroke, while McKenna Rafferty was third in the 100 free and Shannon Smith was third in the 500 free.

Nicole Van Alstine was second in the 500 free and fourth in the 100 butterfly.

In the boys meet, the Pride set a new meet recod in the 200 free relay while Ben Fitch won the 200 free and Filemon Scooler was second and the same tandem did the same 500 free.

 

Connor Engelman won the 50 freestyle and Julian Enriquez was second in the 200 IM.

Results were submitted by the Mountain Pointe boosters.
