The second-seeded Desert Vista girls soccer team jumped on No. 15 Westview early on Tuesday to keep the season moving along.
The Thunder beat Westview 5-0 and will face No. 7 Kofa in Saturday's second round at noon.
Kofa knocked off Chaparral 1-0 on Tuesday.
