CHANDLER - The District 13 Little League will be represented by three different leagues at the state tournament.

And one is from Ahwatukee Little League.

The 10-11 aged squad from ALL was the only one of the three area teams to finish off a long road with a district championship at Snediger Sports Complex on Wednesday.

The 10-11s held off Chandler National North 6-5 after building an early 6-0 advantage led by Matthew McKeon's home run and a double by Antonio Passmore.

The team advances to the state tournament in Mesa starting on July 16.

Chandler National South won the Majors (11-12) division with a 14-0 win in five innings over ALL.

Chandler National South advances to the state tournament in Gilbert starting July 18 and a tournament title there advances the team to San Bernadino, Calif., for the West Regional with a shot at the Little League World Series.

The final game of the night saw Chandler American knock off ALL 5-1 in the 9-10 age group.

The state tournament is in Claypool and starts on July 16.
