In recognition of the late Sally Meyerhoff, a Mountain Pointe graduate and former coach who was killed in a training accident on March 8, Yurbuds will donate 100 sets of Ironman Series Yurbuds to the newly formed Sally Meyerhoff Foundation.

Everyone who stops by Best Buy in Scottsdale, located at 15448 North Pima Rd., on Sunday and donates new or gently used running gear to the Sally Meyerhoff Foundation will be entered for a chance to win a set of Ironman Series Yurbuds - a $49.99 value.

The event is from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. with the Sally Meyerhoff Foundation donation presentation at 3:30 p.m.

Meyerhoff was killed while training near her home in Maricopa. She placed first earlier this year at the Arizona P.F. Changs Rock n Roll Marathon in January and had qualified for the 2012 Olympic Trials. Sally graduated from Phoenix Mountain Pointe and won nine state championships during her prep career between cross country and track.

The Sally Meyerhoff Foundation aims to fund running shoes, clothing and gear for athletes just starting out or less fortunate and in need of assistance. For more information visit
