The Arizona Interscholastic Association released the computerized portion of the football schedules on Wednesday for the next two-year block.

The schools can add two games of their choice now that the initial eight are in place.

Here is a quick look at the schedules for 2011.

Desert Vista: Home - Mesa, Mesa Westwood, Mesa Dobson and Chandler. Away - Tempe Corona del Sol, Chandler Hamilton, Gilbert Mesquite and Mountain Pointe.

Mountain Pointe: Home - Desert Vista, Phoenix Brophy, Corona, Westwood. Away - Chandler, Hamilton, Mesa, Mesa Mountain View.

Mountain Pointe coach Norris Vaughan confirmed Yuma Kofa was one of the two wildcard games.

He also said several of the 5A coaches met with the AIA to hammer many of their concerns that led to the petition being passed around.

"There was some good progress made and ideas shared," said Vaughan, who added that a press release will be issued from the coaches association.

As far as the schedule goes, which might one of the toughest in the state when all is said and done, Vaughan could live with it.

Of course, he has no choice.

"We'll be ready," he said.
