Gambo is a great PR person and I have a feeling that's where this story comes from. She is not a great soccer player. she is a thug on the field. she kicks, punches and plays dirty. that's her claim to fame. It has zero to do with skill. And it doesn't hurt that her father gives away tickets to sporting events to everyone he wants to brag about his daughter to. gag!

RPI: Iona = 294 out 322 D1 soccer schools, American = 243, Loyola Chiacgo 244. Nice academic schools, but a lot to desired in terms of soccer. It's not like this kid got signed by Cal or Duke or UNC.

It's great for her that she gets to continue to play in college, but aren't these schools just looking for people who can run and not trip over the ball at this point?

The story seems a bit blown out of proportion. Gambo just likes to announce his kid's scholarship to everyone because I think I've heard it 10 times on the air by now.

I hope SHE picked the school and I hope it was mostly based on academics.
