St. John Bosco Catholic School

16035 S. 48th St.

For more than 10 years, St. John Bosco Catholic Church has been offering the community of Ahwatukee a schooling experience that incorporates Catholic identity in its curriculum.

Newly-appointed principal Dr. Marie Axman said the school’s community is very close knit and focuses on being a learning community.

Currently the school’s enrollment stands at 455, with grade levels stretching across pre-kindergarten through eighth grade.

“The teachers work very hard to make it feel like a family and we are also close to the families here,” Axman said. “We have many opportunities from parents to volunteer to be part of our programs.”

The school also offers students and parents service opportunities for various organizations around the Valley.
