Ahwatukee recorded another seven-figure home sale recently as its luxury-home market appears to keep chugging along after a slow start this year.

A six-bedroom, 5,500-square-foot single-level home at 3531 E. Modoc Court, in Equestrian Estates, sold for $1.1 million. The house’s stunning contemporary design is complemented by an equally stunning interior.

The recently remodeled 34-year-old home sold for a price that was about twice the price it sold for just five years ago, according to Zillow.com

High-end finishes and distinctive designs grace the house at every corner, from hand-crafted mahogany cabinets surrounding diamond-white quartz countertops and high-end appliances in the kitchen to the massive master bedroom with a luxurious bathroom.

Three fireplaces, one on the spacious patio, also adorn the home.

The home’s double-split plan features secondary bedrooms on two separate wings along with the master bedroom as well as a large loft that can serve as an office with spectacular views of South Mountain.
