School Director Beth Wilson poses with students at God's Garden Preschool on Tuesday, Feb. 18. 2014.
God’s Garden Preschool has been part of the Ahwatukee community for a little over 14 years, offering its community a more “flexible” learning experience.
The school currently houses more than 145 students, with ages ranging from 2 to 5 years old, and nearly 20 instructors.
Director Beth Wilson said the school offers a “family atmosphere” for its parents and students, and allows flexibility when dealing with scheduling conflicts.
“It’s a flexible program. Every year we look at the demographics of what parents are looking for,” she said. “We offer a lot of different options from stay-and-play to enrichments. It’s very family orientated… you just walk in here and feel that.”
The school will be hosting its 14th annual Transportation Day on Saturday, Feb. 22 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., which centers as a community event for Ahwatukee and a fundraiser for the school.
