I am very pleased to see that the Ahwatukee Foothills News has endorsed Wes Gullett for mayor of Phoenix.

Gullett is not just the best choice, he is the only choice. The other candidate has been part of the problem that Phoenix finds itself in now. Gullett has a detailed plan on how to make Phoenix the greatest city in America, and the courage to face the tough issues and implement his plan.

My personal experience with Greg Stanton has been less than stellar. When he was our city councilman, another member of my industry and I had a personal meeting with him at City Hall. We discussed an issue of importance to our industry and Stanton gave us his word that he would support our position. Shortly thereafter, he did just the opposite and abandoned us. At that point, I knew I could not trust him. I made several attempts to contact him after that, but he failed to ever respond. Our current councilman replies immediately whenever I contact him.

Gullett understands that we don't need new taxes, we need jobs! He has spent a lot of time here in the Ahwatukee Foothills area and understands our unique situation and needs.

My thanks to the AFN editorial board for having the integrity to endorse the best candidate for the job of mayor of Phoenix.
