GOP wants to defeat Harry, who has done good things

Dear Editor:

I read in your last issue how excited Anthony Miller the chairman of the District 20 GOP is because he has Republican candidates he feels will defeat Harry Mitchell in the next election (“GOP forum introduced congressional candidates to AF voters Saturday,” AFN, March 24).

Wow, imagine that? Republicans running for office in Arizona. Hoping to defeat a representative who actually did good things for his constituents.

However, with another Republican in office we can continue to cut needed services, education, health care, etc. I can sure understand his excitement.
