Dear Editor:

Good article ("Proposed law would restrict door-to-door salesmen," AFN, Dec. 10). I recently came home from a business trip to find that my wife had been persuaded by a door-to-door salesman to purchase a $25 coupon for a pizza parlor. The coupon had about 25 buy-one get- one free punch outs, which made it seem like a good deal, until the pizza place was dark and obviously out of business. Chalk up one more for not answering the door.
