Politicians abandoning their posts

We seem to have a growing trend of politicians (those on the losing side of the current debate: Democrats) resorting to abandoning their posts.

With that in mind might I suggest that Russell Pearce introduce legislation creating a punishment of 30 days in Tent City for each day a politician abandons his duly-elected post?

Seems like we may also need to establish license revocation for those who want to issue falsified medical excuses.

I volunteer the use of my pick-up truck for such other punishments as should be deemed necessary.
