Arizona is fortunate to have three fine universities in our state. All these institutions are to be commended for different aspects of academia; the one thing we can say for all of them is that a degree from any of them is highly esteemed. Yes, they can be expensive, but they offer an excellent education.

Because the economy slowed, people lost jobs and the need for higher education accelerated, a new breed of educational facility has appeared. It is the private, for-profit universities.

In many cases they might offer a quality education that leads to a quality job, that is not so with many of them. Frequently students find themselves with student loan debt, but still no degree that leads to an anticipated career. Be careful when looking for an education on the cheap.
