As a resident of Ahwatukee for over 20 years, I have seen and been instrumental in many changes within our community. In my role as one of the coordinators of the Ahwatukee Foothills Crime Prevention Taskforce, a community organization that fought for years for increased police presence and increased city services within our community, I had the pleasure of working with Greg Stanton in a professional capacity.

In my role as a community activist, I worked closely with Stanton, who was at that time our hard-working and dedicated City Councilman, and I found him to do an excellent job balancing the job of representing the needs of all areas of his district. I was impressed with his enthusiasm and, more specifically, how he made the effort to come into our community and become fully versed in the needs of the residents of Ahwatukee, and how he worked diligently to make changes for us.

I found him to be honest, attentive, engaged, pro-active, straightforward, and innovative. I believe he will carry these qualities into office as mayor of the city of Phoenix, and his wealth of experience by being our council member for many years gives him the clear edge, in my mind, for being the best candidate that will be able to "hit the ground running" when the election is over. I urge you to join me and to cast your vote for Stanton in the upcoming election.
