I have seen hundreds of candidates throughout my political involvement, yet in the Democratic Primary for Congressional District 9, there is one candidate that rises above the rest. That candidate is David Schapira.

As the former chair of the newly-redistricted Legislative District 18 Democrats, I have had numerous opportunities to meet and work with all three candidates running for the Democratic nomination.

I’m supporting David because he has been a consistent advocate for my values and our community at the State Capitol. I am confident he will continue that leadership in Congress.

While education is often thrown around as a political slogan, David’s commitment to ensuring that every child has the opportunity to receive a quality education is unwavering. To David, it’s not about politics ... it’s about making our schools better for our kids.

By electing David, we have the chance to send a community leader to Washington who will fight for better schools, quality jobs and the preservation of the American Dream.

Join me in voting for David Schapira for Congress in the Aug. 28th Democratic Primary.
