Dear Editor:

Recently, the Investors Business Daily and the Wall Street Journal wrote that Al Gore's speech to some international financiers in Greece this November conceded the ethanol industry "serves no useful purpose" (WSJ, Nov. 27). It was "bad policy but good politics" (IBD editorial, Nov. 22).

Further, an IBD editorial on Nov. 19 said a high-ranking member of the U.N.'s International Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) admits the group's primary goal is the redistribution of wealth (where have we heard that one?) and not environmental protection or saving the Earth.

Now they tell us! After millions of people and students have been brainwashed with the myth that global warming is an anthropogenic phenomenon. At least we now have the truth, but who's listening? Not Obama, the Democrats and the EPA.
