Dear Editor:

You have to love and appreciate Ahwatukee.

Recently, my husband and I had some car trouble and coasted into the Chase Bank parking lot at East Chandler Boulevard and Mountain Parkway. Within a few minutes until the tow truck got there (less than an hour) eight cars stopped to ask us if we were safe and if we needed any help. I was awe-struck and proud all at the same time. These wonderful and kind people took time out to help their fellow human being and it truly was a nice feeling.

Thank you, Judy for coming to pick us up, and to Ross, for stopping to see if we were OK. As for all the nice strangers that stopped, please know how much it meant to us and how much you have renewed our faith in the human race. We will certainly "pay it forward" if the occasion arises.
