Dear Editor:
I just wanted to mention I have noticed an increased presence of the Phoenix Police Department patrolling Ahwatukee Foothills lately. I live out by Desert Foothills Parkway and East Chandler Boulevard and I have seen patrols on a more frequent basis.
It is a welcome sight; glad to see they are coming out this way more often. Now, if they could just get the local traffic to slow down it would be great.
Now they need to check Pecos Road past 32nd Street because it's a racetrack at all hours ... just sayin'.
