After decades of discussing immigration reform, we have passed nothing that changes the broken system. There was a lot of talk for the past few months that both the Senate and the House had bills ready for presentation; however, the deal is off.

Speaker Boehner doesn’t trust the President to enact a law and Sen. Schumer’s advice is to pass a bill with no enactment until a new President is elected. Brilliant!

It is not possible to pass a bill that requires background checks and back taxes to be paid? It is not possible to push up the visa numbers so the high-tech industry can hire the workers they need?

This is just too embarrassing to ever call these people “Honorable.” There is an election coming this year.

Pay attention to who promised what they’d do if elected.
