Words spoken more than 4,000 years ago — it was written, and prophesied, that Jesus would be born of a virgin. Isaiah 9:6 — “For unto us a Child is born, unto us a Son is given; and the government shall be upon His shoulders; and His name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The Mighty God, The Everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.”

Through Mary, Jesus received a physical body, and Christ was God manifest in the flesh through the blood of God the Father flowing through Him. The Virgin Birth of Jesus was completely natural in every aspect except one: It was not the seed of a man. Luke 1:34-35 — “Then said Mary unto the angel, How shall this be, seeing I know not a man? And the angel answered and said unto her, The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow thee: therefore also that holy thing which shall be born of thee shall be called the Son of God.”

Jesus Christ’s birth stands as the most significant event in all history. It is His birthday we celebrate — and why the majority of Americans observe this very special day.

Greeting each other with a “Merry Christmas” and meaning “Christ” in Christmas.

Families gather with traditions such as singing Christmas carols, and symbols such as nativity scenes and Christmas trees. It radiates love and warmth that comes from the heart of the true spirit of Christmas that is present in us. Our prayer is that your family discovers a truly meaningful and joyful Christmas experience in His presence.

A Merry Christmas to all!
