It's another year and another promise to myself that I will start working out and CONTINUE (that's the key) to work out.
I always start...it's the desire to soldier on that always wanes.
I decided to try Crossfit Ahwatukee and the chance to win an iPad at the end of 6 weeks as my motivating factor.
I am one of those people that if I don't see results right away, I lose incentive to get my butt in gear.
I figure 6 weeks is a fair enough length of time to see some change.
Crossfit recommends the Paleo diet, which is essentially a clean way of eating like our hunter-gatherer ancestors did.
High on the protein with lots of fruits and veggies. No processed food, gluten or legumes are allowed either.
To amp up my chances for the Grand Prize, I've decided to follow the Paleo plan too.
Okay....here I go!
