This might be going out on a limb, but I am fan of the TV show Conspiracy Theory with Jesse Ventura so here goes.

I am being told, but haven’t confirmed yet, that the herpes strain that wreaked havoc with the Arizona high school wrestling scene might have come from the college ranks.

Ok, I admit there is a bit of seven degrees of separation going on here but this is one theory of how the herpes strain entered Arizona wrestling rooms.

Cal Poly, who apparently had some issues with the herpes strain, wrestled Menlo College on Jan. 18.

Menlo then wrestled Glendale Community College during the Centennial ‘Pack’ Tournament on Jan. 24 on the same mats the 24 teams at the tournament used both days.

And there it is.

Maybe.

Time to get ‘The Body’ and his conspiracy team on the case.
