The Ramirez boys are at it again.

The two Ahwatukee residents have been considered among the best in the country in the javelin in their respective age groups.

They have a chance to cement that fact again in the coming days and weeks.

Aaron, who will be a senior at Mountain Pointe, is competing in the USA Youth national track and field championships on Saturday in Bloomington, Indiana.

Then on July 6, Alex and his younger brother, Alex, will be competing at the Region X Junior Olympics Track and Field Championships held at the US Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs.

They enter the event as region leaders in their respective age groups.

A good performance in Colorado and they will qualify for the National Junior Olympic Track & Field Championships the following week in Houston.
