The girls teams had its 15 year streak of winning a state title come to an end this year as the Trojans finished third, while the boys picked up the "slack" and won the Division IV meet.

Both squads had Ahwatukee Foothills residents contributing all year long.

Junior Taylor Robertson finished ninth in the long jump and 11th in the pole vault.

Junior Alex Chavez finished 10th in the 1600 meter run, while senior Connor Baskin was 23rdin the 3200 meter run.

Other contributors were Grace Berry, Lindsay Laulis, Dillon Lackhan, Jordan Murray and Tim Sinfield.
