From the overlooked category comes this little tidbit: Mountain Pointe senior guard Khari Holloway broke the 1,000-point plateau for his career this season.
He had 530 points this season to finish with 1,277 points that includes four points as a freshman, 233 as a sophomore and 510 as a junior.
Holloway finished the season averaging 19 points, four rebounds, two steals and two assists per game.
Holloway is still undecided on a college but clearly has the ability – and attitude – to play at the next level.
He was one of four area players to crack the milestone this year along with Desert Vista’s Kylie Butler and Emily Wolph and the Pride’s Caitlyn Hetrick.
