There are plenty of parents out there with teenagers that know exactly how Mountain Pointe softball coach James Bradford feels when watching Kristen McCann and Hannah Hoban warm up.

“They are cousins and they have this certain way of talking when they are in the bullpen,” Bradford said. “I will try and listen and they will get on me for not understanding. They talk without saying something at times.

“They have that connection and are good for each other. You can see it on and off the field. While I might not always know what they are saying it is clear they are in sync.”

Considering they are just sophomore and already form one of Division I’s top batterymates their special way of communication is only going to become more interesting over the years.
