There are team bonding exercises that help the team and there are those that help others.

The Mountain Pointe baseball team raised funds for the ‘Feed My Starving Children’ foundation over the past couple of weeks.

The players raised $1,050.23 on their own by asking classmates at lunch and other common areas.

It pays for 4,773 meals and is enough money to feed 13 children in one year.

Then they spent some time packing food boxes as the juniors and seniors put together 120 boxes, which feeds 71 children for one year.

The freshmen and sophomore set the facility record by putting together 149 boxes, which equates to 88 children fed for a full year.
