It is game week.

After all of the speculation since the AFN broke the news in February about the Pride playing the Bishop Gorman in the Sollenberger Classic in Las Vegas, it is essentially here.

The Pride has two regular practices on Monday and Tuesday before boarding buses at 8:15 a.m. on Wednesday with a lunch stop in Kingman scheduled around noon before arriving at the Palace Station in Las Vegas between 3 and 4 p.m.

The four-day, three-night stay is all planned out.

Here is some of the team’s itinerary:

6 p.m. - Team meeting

7 p.m. to 9 p.m. – Practice at Faith Lutheran High

10:15 p.m. to 11 p.m. – Snack in the meeting room

10 a.m. – Team meeting

11 a.m. – Study table

1:15 p.m. to 3:15 p.m. – Practice at Faith Lutheran

6 p.m. to 8 p.m. – Sollenberger Classic Banquet at Bishop Gorman

8:30 p.m. – Team meeting

9 p.m. – 11 p.m. – Snack/free time

4:15 p.m. – Locker rooms open up at Fertitta Field

5:20 p.m. – Team warm-ups begin

6:22 p.m. – Mountain Pointe band performs from the stands

6:30 p.m. – Teams head back to locker room

6:52 p.m. – Teams lineup for introductions; Pride is on the east side bench

6:55 p.m. – Barry Sollenberger tribute video; teams introduced

7 p.m. – National Anthem by Bishop Gorman band

7:03 p.m. – Coin flip (tails never fails!)

7:07 p.m. – Kickoff

End of first quarter – Mountain Pointe spiritline performs

Halftime – Bishop Gorman spiritline performs; followed by Mountain Pointe band

8:15 p.m. – Teams return to the field to warm up

9:30 p.m. – Trophy presentation

So there you have it.

All the talk, all the work and the stories are just about done. Only thing left to do is lace 'em him and get after it.
