Jalen Brown had one of those years for the record book as he pretty much surpassed every wide receiver mark in school history.

And some people are noticing.

Mainly, the people of Gatorade who are expected to name Brown, a junior, the Gatorade Football Player of the Year for Arizona, Mountain Pointe athletic director Ian Moses confirmed.

The 6-ffot-2, 178-pound Brown finished the season with 63 catches for 1,150 yards and 18 touchdowns and on defense where he plays safety Brown had five interceptions.

All of his offensive numbers are school records for a season. He also holds school marks for catches (125 ), yards (2,053) and touchdowns (29).

He has college offers from all over the nation and is ranked No. 46 overall by rivals.com.
