Curiosity got the best of me and I had to check out what Kyle Faunce has done this year in his senior year at Warren Central in Indianapolis.
The 6-foot, 200-pounder is putting up similar numbers he had at Mountain Pointe last season before his family moved back to Indiana.
Faunce is competing 67 percent of his passes (73 of 109) for 1,041 yards with 12 touchdowns and five interceptions through seven games, all victories.
Last year with Mountain Pointe, in his only year in the program, Faunce completed 58 percent (120 of 201) of his passes for 1,691 yards and 16 touchdown, both school records, and 11 interceptions.
His departure really left the Pride in a tough situation, which was made tougher considering last year's backup Jacub Lough is no longer on the team as well.
It is one of the reasons the Pride is 2-4 on the season and Norris Vaughan is facing the possibility of his first losing season as a coach since 2000 when South Forsyth (Georgia) 4-6 in back to back seasons.
