The Desert Vista Thunder and Mountain Pointe Pride girls’ volleyball teams are collecting raffle donations to support the annual Dig Pink event, which will be held Thursday, Oct. 24 at Desert Vista.

Efforts from both schools in the past five years have placed them top in the nation in fundraising. The hope is to continue the success of honoring breast cancer survivors, hosting a raffle of donated items, playing a competitive volleyball match and raising donations for this worthy cause.

Last year the event earned close to $7,000 for the Side-Out Foundation and they hope to exceed that this year.

To submit an auction item, contact Linda Harward at LHarward@cox.net.
