Godfrey, Smyers return from Great Southwest

The 36th annual Great Southwest Classic in New Mexico was over the weekend and two area track athletes competed.

Mountain Pointe's Kevina Godfrey finished fifth in the girls 200 meter dash with a time of 25.30 seconds and 17th in the 100 with a time of 12.48.

Horizon Honors senior Charles Smyers finished 23rd in the 300 meter hurdles.
