Caught a glimpse of something I wish I hadn't.

After Mountain Pointe's win over Desert Vista on Wednesday in girls basketball, I opened the the visitor's locker room door and there it was.

Trevor Neider dancing.

There was the cabbage patch, a little sprinkler and something else that maybe should be called the stroke.

It looked like he was having one.

Apparently, it is something he does after big wins.

"It was ugly," senior Caitlyn Hetrick said. "It was a victory dance and something we get him to do."

It's clear the Pride's fourth-year coach has a good rapport with the players and it was all in fun.

With the way Mountain Pointe is playing, there might be plenty more chances for Neider to cut a rug.

I'll just make sure to knock before entering next time.
