The Arizona contingent in Fargo didn't keep up with the progress made in recent years in wrestling at the national level.

The team finished 24th in Cadet Greco Roman with one placer in Chandler Basha's Kamden Krum as he took fifth place in 91 pounds.

In Junior Greco, Arizona was in 18th place Flowing Wells' Javier Guillen (eight, 105 pounds), Safford's Trey Andrews (seventh, 112), Sunnyside's Kory DeBerry (fourth, 152 pounds) and Mingus' Logan Addis (sixth, 152) coming back as medalists.

The Cadet freestylers from AZ didn't score a point and had zero placers.

The Junior freestylers representing the Grand Canyon State finished 16th as Desert Vista's Robbie Mathers (sixth, 125) and DeBerry (third, 152) managed to place.

It must be stated the team took a hit when Chandler's Dalton Brady left the state to train year round at the Olympic Training Center as his presence probably would have moved the Juniors in each discipline into the top 10.
