The AIA released the first set of soccer seeding rankings on Tuesday.

There are still plenty of matches to make a move one way or another before the regular season ends the week of Jan. 21-24 to qualify for the 16-team tournaments. The top three from each of the three sections automatically qualify with seven at-large bids available. It starts Jan. 29 in all divisions.

Here is a look at where local teams stand.

The Desert Vista boys (3-1) sit at No. 12 in Division I overall and No. 3 in the DI, Section III, while Mountain Pointe (2-3) is No. 25 overall and No. 7 in DI, Sec. III.

The Horizon Honors boys (3-3-1) were No. 14 overall in Division III and No. 3 in DIII, Section II.

The Desert Vista girls (4-0) were No. 4 overall and No. 1 in DI, Section III, while the Pride (2-2) sat at No. 29 overall and No. 9 in DI, Section III.

The Horizon Honors girls (0-5-1) were No. 45 overall in DIII and No. 16 in DIII, Section II.
