The Desert Vista offensive line had a new look last week after running the same lineup out there for the first seven games.

Week nine brings more changes.

Junior Zach Tamburo, who played guard all year before having to miss last week's win over Mesquite because of a suspension after being ejected in the Hamilton loss, moves to center with junior Cole Preston missing his second straight game because of leg injury.

Zamburo had been playing at a very high level at guard so his move to center says a lot about how 6-foot-2, 280-pound junior Dylan Fischer did last week in his place at guard.

"(Fischer) plays a lot of defense so I wasn't sure how he was going to hold up, but he played great," said Desert Vista coach Dan Hinds, who added the Ryan Hawkinson played well at center last week as well. "He has shown the ability to go both ways and he can be a great player."
