Desert Vista junior lineman J.J. Dielman received his first offer on Wednesday as Utah offered two days after visiting a Thunder spring practice.

The 6-foot-4, 245-pounder hit a growth spurt and has done well in combines to garner the attention in recent months.

He played both ways last season and was more consistent on the offensive line and the Utes are recruiting him as an OL after being a first-team All-Fiesta Region selection.

In other news, Mountain Pointe has a new face on campus in Detorrion Harvey as he transferred from Desert Vista. Harvey, who is a 6-foot-1, 270-pound junior, was part of the defensive line rotation for the Thunder last season.
