Brandon Buck has a new view on life in the form of about 24 inches and 12 pounds.

Buck broke the coach's curse when his third child with his wife, Kerry, was a boy.

Eleven weeks later, McCade was side-by-side with dad at Monday's practice taking in some sun, ground balls and infield practice.

The little guy sat idly by, eyes wide open, in his baby seat carrier while Dad instructed the Pride.

“He’s a good little dude,” Buck said.

The Bucks have two daughters – Parker, 3, and Karsyn, 2 – so he is going to have his hands full.

With his wife back to work, Buck is taking in some good father-son time when the schedule works out.

“I know every day is going to be different,” Buck said. “But I am going to take advantage of every minute of it.”
